Rooky is a read-only monitoring app for an automated, paper-trading (no real money) SPY options bot run by the developer. You cannot connect a brokerage account, fund anything, or place trades, and no real money is involved. Nothing in the app is financial or investment advice.
Sign in with Apple, Google, or email identifies your account, keeps retained Chat and notification records isolated from other users, and lets the app provide data export and account deletion. There is no paywall.
Depending on the features you use, Rooky may retain:
These records are linked to your account and used only for App Functionality. Rooky has no analytics, advertising, or tracking SDKs, does not track you across other apps or websites, and does not sell or share personal data with advertisers or data brokers. See the Privacy Policy for details.
To answer a Chat question, Rooky's backend sends the question, recent conversation context, and the grounded bot context needed to answer to its model-service processors. Optional backend model-observability traces may also process the question, answer or refusal, and model-operation metadata. The Privacy Policy identifies those processors and the exact purpose.
The app creates a JSON file containing the authenticated user's retained account, access, Chat/feedback, usage/quota, device, and Live Activity records. Push tokens and access credentials are redacted. Interface preferences and caches that remain only on the device are not server records and are not part of the export.
After confirmation, Rooky deletes the authenticated user's backend account records and then the Firebase Authentication account. Sign in with Apple accounts complete a fresh Apple reauthorization so the associated Apple authorization can be revoked. If a provider or network step fails, the app reports the failure so you can retry.
Deletion removes the user's Chat/feedback, usage/quota and profile records, access-request records, and notification/Live Activity registrations from Rooky's backend. It does not claim to erase general interface preferences or caches stored only in the app's local container; removing the app removes ordinary app-container data. Deletion cannot be undone.
On the sign-in screen, choose email sign-in and use Forgot password?. Firebase sends the reset instructions to the account email address.
Return to the sign-in screen and try again. Cancellation does not create or delete an account. For Sign in with Apple, use the same Apple account when returning; Apple's Hide My Email relay address is supported.
Manage notification permission in iOS Settings → Notifications → Rooky. Features that register notification devices or Live Activities may also expose their applicable in-app controls.
Check the internet connection and try again. If the service is busy or temporarily unavailable, wait briefly and retry. If the message continues, send support the device model, iOS/iPadOS version, approximate time, and exact message. Do not include passwords, access codes, or tokens.
No. The bot uses a paper account. Figures shown are paper-account results, not gains or losses in a real-money account. There are no deposits, withdrawals, payments, or in-app purchases.
